Framing
Our framing technicians and consultants are trained and experienced in a broad range of framing techniques from bespoke wood milling, staining, spraying and finishing to archival grade fixing methods to ensure the long term preservation of your artwork. We offer no obligation consultation services free of charge and are always on the lookout for exciting collaborations and unusual requests.
We cater for a wide range of framing clients, from one-off frames to large gallery or museum projects.
As there are so many variables and subjective decision making involved in finding the best aesthetic and practical solutions for your framed artwork, we advise you visit our workshop for a consultation or email your requirements to info@abliss.co.uk.
Perspex Boxes
Perspex boxes suit a range of artwork types, especially objects. Without a solid outer frame artworks are free to be viewed from a wider angle without being intruded on by the weight and colour of a conventional frame. Backing panels can be wood (sprayed, painted, stained or plain), Perspex or rigid surfaces such as Dibond.

The artwork pictured is fixed to an 18mm birch ply backing which was lined with a museum board and floated with battens.
