Mounting
Mounting is the process of bonding papers and other flat materials to a substrate. We offer an in-house, bespoke mounting service of the highest quality to the art world and beyond. Having worked for a diverse range of clients and projects, we take pride in delivering quality and integrity in everything we do.
Please use the selector below to help narrow your search for suitable mounting substrates. Further advice and guidelines can be found at the bottom of the individual substrate sections.
You will also find a size and price guide below each substrate, please contact us with off-list or unusual size enquiries.
Glass ‘face’ mounting
Face mounting on glass is a great way to protect a print without adding a conventional picture frame with glazing. During the process our technicians adhere the front of the print to the back of the glass using an optically clear double sided adhesive. They then protect the back of the print with a thin, polyester layer and attach hanging fixings ready to float hang.
We use the most optically clear glass with white reflections rather than the standard green you would find on float glass. Due to the weight and stability of glass we only offer this service up to 1.2m/sq
