Our Services
Reversible, Archival Conservation Mounting
We offer a mounting process which is fully reversible and of the highest conservation quality. The process uses a limited amount of heat and pressure to securely fix paper or fabric-based materials to a substrate. It is particularly suitable for valuable and/or undulating artworks that would generally be tabbed or hinged in place which can risk warping or rippling in the future, especially when in harsh climatic conditions. If the artwork is sold at a later date, it can be removed and remounted based on the buyers’ preference. The reversal can be carried out by our technicians or your chosen conservator.
